Tioga County is updating the County's Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). A Hazard Mitigation Plan is a way to identify natural hazards the County faces, evaluate people and property at risk, and create strategies to minimize damages in the long term.

Tioga County's Draft 2024 Hazard Mitigation Plan Update is ready for public input. This updated plan incorporates FEMA's new guidelines.  The Plan can be found at  https://www.tiogacountyny.gov/departments/emergency-services/ then scroll down and click the box titled Tioga County Multi Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan.
