MEDIA RELEASE: Tioga County Public Health 2026 Team Member of the Third Quarter

Last Updated: 10/13/2026

Tioga County Public Health is proud to announce Danielle Gregrow, Public Health Sanitarian, as the team member of the third quarter for her outstanding contributions to our department and to the Environmental Health team. Since joining the department in June 2025, she quickly became an essential part of our team. From the very beginning, she jumped into her role with determination, eagerness to learn, and a true commitment to protecting the health and safety of our residents.

Danielle is a passionate and vocal advocate for the Lead Poisoning Prevention Program. She consistently goes above and beyond for children and families affected by lead exposure—whether she’s educating parents, addressing concerns with landlords, or ensuring every necessary step is taken to eliminate hazards in the home. She does not stop at identifying a problem; she works tirelessly until she knows a family is safer and able to move forward with a better quality of life.

She also shines in her work with the Rabies Prevention Program. Danielle has become our go‑to person for rabies calls—especially those involving bats—and she handles every investigation with professionalism, compassion, and thoroughness. Despite a recent surge in bite investigations, she has remained steady, polished, and focused on providing the public with accurate information, clear guidance, and unwavering support.

What truly sets Danielle apart is the way she carries herself. She is knowledgeable, dependable, always willing to help, and consistently ensures that people are connected with the right services and resources. Her advocacy, compassion, and dedication reflect exactly what it means to be a Tioga County employee.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family: her husband and two beautiful daughters.  Keeping her active, she has lots of chickens and loves updating her home. She also loves her healthy foods and treats from Annie’s in Newark Valley.

We are grateful to have her on our team, and we are proud to honor her as our Employee of the Quarter.
